Articulate Spelling is a networked program, that allows all of the students in your school to be able to pick up their word lists with the utmost ease. You first must assign all of the students in your school a unique identifier--their windows login name works best, as this will allow the program to default to the correct user automatically.
You then generate groups for your students, based on which word list you want them to have. The image below shows a typical setup, but there is no requirement that the groups be structured into year groups.
After defining the groups, you move on to defining the list of tests for each group. The screen below displays a typical setup.
For each word in the test, you can provide a phonetic pronunciation in case the speech engine doesn't say it correctly, as well as provide a sentence for context. The image above shows the preview of using the word in a sentence. The program allows you to copy and paste from other programs to make it very easy to set up the tests.
You can also set up an email address which should receive the results when a student has completed a test.
